The Gender and Sexuality Works-in-Progress group has been meeting at the University of Pennsylvania since Spring 2004 with the support of the Women’s Studies Program and the Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Center. A group of graduate students and faculty meet monthly to discuss articles, dissertation and book chapters, grant proposals, and other works in progress. The group also occasionally sponsors outside speakers, and serves as a link to queer-related lectures and events in the Philadelphia area.
